Health Education Center, LLC is an educational facility devoted to providing students with the knowledge needed to begin a career as a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA). The school was founded by four healthcare professionals who understand the needs of a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) entering the health care profession. H.E.C. offers the needed training for students to become a State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) that will allow them to enter the health care field. Dr. Suresh Nair, MD – Owner Operator
Board certified Internal Medicine Specialist with over 26 years of experience in the field of Geriatrics, ambulatory, and Inpatient Medicine.- Grew up in New York, trained in NY and NJ, and has had his own practice for 16 years. His wife is a physician, and he has two children in College. Dr. Nair’s interests lie in Music, Aesthetics procedures, and developing his business models.
Judy Bowman – Office Manager
Worked from time to time in my husband’s Dental Office while raising our 7 children. We now have 35 grandchildren! Have had several Leadership positions in our church working with women, teenagers and children. I worked with Realtors and Banks processing Short Sales to help prevent foreclosure on homes. I am now enjoying Health Education Center, LLC where I work with Nursing facilities and students to help them increase SRNAs in the facilities and the students to move forward in their educational endeavors in the Medical field.
Matthew P. Garvey, BSN, RN, NREMT –
Consultant for HEC Currently, Matthew enjoys traveling around the United States as a traveling Intensive Care Registered Nurse. He started his career in long term care at the age of 15 working in the activities department. A year later, he obtained his SRNA certification and joined the department of nursing. After working as an SRNA, emergency department technician and EMT on an ambulance, Matt graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. He is now pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree from Western Governor’s University.
Pam Alvey, APRN – Owner Operator
Pam has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2001. She graduated from Spalding University with a BSN and MSN. She is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Kimberly Cashion, APRN – Owner Operator
Kim has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2000. She graduated from Murray State University with a BSN and Spalding University with her MSN. She is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Cindy Phillips, RN – Program Coordinator
I am a Certified Vocational Education Teacher. I have been in Nursing since May 1981. I started teaching with the school system in 1999. I am now, also, the Program Coordinator for Health Education Center.
